There are reports that Special teams of ED and IT have descended in Hyderabad and are conducting raids on Mythri Movie Makers, the most happening production house in the Telugu film industry. The raids began early this morning.
The reports say Multiple offices belonging to the production house and residences of the producers and key staff are being searched.
There are rumors in the industry that Mythri has got funding from two MLAs of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. One MLA is also said to be into Mining and there are suspicions that money laundering is happening. They also have businesses in the USA.
Mythri sources say their accounts are clean and these are routine raids.
Mythri delivered two hits this Sankranthi with Waltair Veerayya and Veera Simha Reddy. They have attracted the attention of the agencies after they kickstarted promotions of their Pushpa 2.
On April 8th (Allu Arjun’s Birthday), the First Look poster is on the front page of all the major Newspapers across the country in multiple languages. This campaign may have cost a bomb for the production house.
